The Â̲èÖ±²¥ is committed to practice that reflects its duty of care to all students, including apprentices.
The welfare of our students is paramount, and all individuals regardless of age, disability, gender identity, race/ethnicity, religious belief, sex/gender, sexual orientation, or other status have the right to equal protection from all types of harm and abuse.
We aim to work in partnership with those for whom we have a duty of care and with appropriate individuals and agencies in promoting safeguarding.
For apprenticeships, this extends to our employer partners who have a duty of care to comply with UK legislation and statutory responsibilities. We expect employers to take responsibility for their apprentice’s welfare in the workplace and to seek appropriate advice and guidance when they feel their apprentice may be at risk.
